OTA 230 - Current and Emerging OTA Practice Credits: 1 Lecture Contact Hours: 1 Description: This course will explore current and emerging practice areas in occupational therapy. Students will learn how occupation-focused practice can be applied to a variety of settings and populations. OTA-specific certifications will be discussed along with emerging opportunities in occupational therapy. Some sessions may be off-campus at professional sites, and students are expected to provide their own transportation.
Prerequisites: OTA 140 with a minimum grade of 2.5. OTA 170 with a minimum grade of 2.5. OTA 180 with a minimum grade of 2.5. OTA 190 with a minimum grade of 2.5. OTA 210 with a minimum grade of 2.5. Corequisites: OTA 220 .OTA 240 . OTA 250 . Recommended: None
