CGT 149 - Typography Credits: 3 Lecture Contact Hours: 3 Description: This course introduces the graphic design student to the principles of typography by investigating letter forms as both an element of design and as a medium of communication. Concentration is on typeface identification, effective use of type to convey information, measuring systems and application of typography to computer graphics.
Prerequisites: CGT 123 with a minimum grade of 2.0. Corequisites: None. Recommended: None.
