CGT 123 - Illustration - Illustrator Credits: 3 Lecture Contact Hours: 3 Description: This course is intended to introduce students to the field of graphic design and illustration using professional computer drawing software. Emphasis is on learning the software and on applying basic design skills to the computer generated image. Students are instructed in the fundamentals of drawing on the computer, working with color, working with type and combining type and image for effective communication. Students are expected to be familiar with basic functions of the computer before beginning the class.
Prerequisites: CGT 109 or may be taken concurrently. Corequisites: None. Recommended: None.
