WELD 240 - Computer Numerical Control

Description: Introduction to the theory and application of programming and sequencing of numerical control automation and cutting equipment. Emphasis will be placed on utilizing incremental and absolute programming language applying G and M codes. Students will use computer software and nesting to create cutting paths as well as learn troubleshooting components of the automated equipment and programs. Welding skills developed in advanced arc welding and welding print reading will be applied.

Prerequisites: WELD 120 . WELD 205 .
