WELD 119 - Gas Tungsten Inert Arc Welding (G.T.A.W./ T.I.G.) Credits: 3 Lecture Contact Hours: 2 Lab Contact Hours: 2 Description: Theory and fundamentals of Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (G.T.A.W.) will be explored. This method of metal fusion is capable of producing very high quality welds in virtually all metals and one of the few methods of welding some of the more difficult to weld metals. The course is designed to provide entry level employability and solid foundation for more advanced courses.
