SOC 220 - Urban Sociology Credits: 3 Lecture Contact Hours: 3 Description: This course provides a survey of the origin and development of cities and the processes of urbanization which includes a discussion of the ecology and social organization of urban life. The special problems and realities of urban society will be covered as well as perspectives for the future.
Prerequisites: None. Corequisites: None. Recommended: ANTH 112 or SOC 201
