SCM 230 - Supply Chain Operations Credits: 3 Lecture Contact Hours: 3 Description: This course explains the concepts and techniques of Supply Chain Management (SCM) Operations. This includes the following topics: operations management strategy, total quality management, warehouse location and layout, forecasting, aggregate planning, materials management, just-in-time systems, scheduling and project management. Operations and Supply Chain Management (OSCM) covers warehousing, manufacturing and service industries involving the functions of materials management, operations planning, distribution, logistics, retail, demand forecasting, order fulfillment and more.
Prerequisites: SCM 100 or consent of Department. MATH 122 . Corequisites: None. Recommended: None.
