MUSIC 164 - Music History 1 - 17th and 18th Centuries Credits: 3 Lecture Contact Hours: 3 Description: This course provides a detailed survey of literature, history and musical materials of the Baroque and Classical eras. The functions and characteristics of music in the 17th and 18th centuries will be explored. Composers, musical compositions and musical performances of this era will be examined.
