MFG 105 - Manufacturing Processes Credits: 4 Lecture Contact Hours: 4 Description: This course will serve as an introduction to a variety of manufacturing processes, such as casting, forming, plastics, machining and joining. It is meant to be an overview and will concentrate on the uniqueness of each process as it applies to materials and production capabilities. In addition, the student will have a brief exposure to the properties of materials as they relate to particular manufacturing processes and the concepts of measurement, inspection and tolerances.
