MET 216 - Mechanical Testing Credits: 3 Lecture Contact Hours: 2 Lab Contact Hours: 2 Description: This course applies theories of elasticity and plasticity as well as mechanisms of strengthening and fracture to the mechanical testing of materials by various loading and measurement techniques. In addition, common forming methods are discussed.
Prerequisites: ENGR 100 or may be taken concurrently. MET 153 . MFG 102 or may be taken concurrently. Corequisites: None. Recommended: None.
