HIT 104 - Medical Terminology Credits: 4 Lecture Contact Hours: 4 Description: This course introduces the student to the fundamentals of the language of medicine. Definitions, pronunciations, spelling and abbreviations of anatomic, symptomatic, diagnostic and operative terms pertaining to each anatomical system of the body will be reviewed. Terms pertaining to pharmacology, clinical laboratory, radiology and pathology will also be explored.
