FIRE 136 - Fire Protection Systems Credits: 3 Lecture Contact Hours: 3 Description: This course provides information relating to the features of design and operation of fire alarm systems. This course explores water-based and special hazard fire suppression systems. This course also examines water supply for fire protection and the application of portable fire extinguishers. Students who successfully complete this course may apply to be recognized by the U.S. Fire Administration through the Fire and Emergency Services Higher Education (FESHE) initiative.
