COMA 212 - Organizational Communication Credits: 3 Lecture Contact Hours: 3 Description: This is an introductory course that covers key concepts and theories of organizational communication. Topics may include communication models for leaders and teams, the impact of globalization and technology, the role of power, decision-making, organizational culture and conflict management. Students will explore concepts through a variety of strategies and techniques which may include examining case studies, preparing team and individual presentations and writing essays that will enhance their understanding of organizational communication.
Prerequisites: None. Corequisites: None. Recommended: COMA 103 or COMA 105 .
