Description: This course examines the development of dramatic art and practice from the beginning of the 19th century to the present. Emphasis is placed on the evolution of the physical theatre and dramatic forms in relation to contemporaneous production facilities and innovations. 19th century, Modern, Postwar and Contemporary periods are explored.
