MUSIC 250 - Music Theory 3 Credits: 3 Lecture Contact Hours: 3 Description: This is the third course in the Music Theory sequence. Students will be introduced to borrowed chords, augmented and Neapolitan sixth chords, diminished seventh chords, chromatic mediants and modulation to foreign keys. Students will also analyze 18th- and 19th-century compositions.
Prerequisites: MUSIC 154 Corequisites: None. Recommended: None.
