CHIN 201 - Intermediate Chinese 1 Credits: 4 Lecture Contact Hours: 4 Description: This course is a continuation of CHIN 102 and continues to cover vocabulary and grammar patterns and build competence in all four skill areas: speaking, listening, reading and writing. Through varied activities, emphasis will be placed on oral proficiency and communication. An appreciation of Chinese culture will be an integral part of the course.
Prerequisites: None. Corequisites: None. Recommended: CHIN 102 with a minimum grade of 2.0 or two years of high school Chinese or equivalent language knowledge
