CIS 105 - Computer Orientation Credits: 1 Lecture Contact Hours: 1 Description: This course is designed for students who have had little or no experience with computers. Topics covered in this course include introduction to the Windows-based operating systems and some word processing concepts. Basic word processing concepts will be introduced using the hands-on approach. Successful completion of this course meets the minimum requirement needed to qualify a student to use one of the college’s computers during open lab hours.
