                  MATH 113 - Intermediate Algebra for College Students  Credits: 4 Lecture Contact Hours: 4  Description: Review of algebraic operations; problem solving strategies; integer and rational exponents; complex numbers; solving equations; function concept; graphs and applications of linear, quadratic, exponential and logarithmic functions; and systems of equations are the topics covered in this course.
  Prerequisites: MATH 053  with a minimum grade of 2.0 or a minimum score of 19 ACT-Math, 25 SAT-Math, 78 CPT-Elementary Algebra or 250 NGA-Quantitative Reasoning, Algebra and Statistics Corequisites: None. Recommended: None.
