The accounting program is designed to familiarize students with the work and challenges facing accountants. The program provides training for those planning to seek a career in accounting. Students who satisfactorily complete all college and program requirements qualify for an associate of applied science degree.

- Apply federal, state, and local tax laws to completing tax forms for a variety of situations
- Prepare financial statements
- Account for product or service costs including allocations
- Complete payroll records and reports according to payroll regulations
