Computer Information Systems: Computer and Network Technology Certificate

Location(s): Main Campus in Livonia, Online - Distance Learning


This program prepares students for the modern information technology environment where technicians and administrators are expected to be responsible for much more than just troubleshooting computer problems. In addition to a firm basis in computer hardware and software skills, students will gain technical proficiency in operating systems, networking, and cybersecurity, while also learning how to communicate with and support users in a business environment.

Students who satisfactorily complete the program requirements qualify for a certificate of program completion. 

Not all courses are offered each semester. Students should work with an academic advisor to develop a schedule that will work for them.

Industry Certifications


Courses in this program will help prepare students to obtain industry certifications including:  CompTIA A+, Security+, Linux+, and Cloud+, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft MD-102.
