Studying psychology offers insight into the fascinating area of human behavior and provides a better understanding of why people act and think as they do. Schoolcraft offers courses in human relations, general psychology, child psychology, psychology of aging, and the psychology of adjusting to the personal and social environment. Students also have the opportunity to get involved in on-campus events and activities focused on raising awareness of mental health issues and promoting awareness of mental health resources and services.

Psychologists apply this insight to their work in fields as diverse as education, nursing, medicine, law, advertising, public relations, and communications.
