PSYCH 213 - Stereotypes, Prejudice and Discrimination Credits: 3 Lecture Contact Hours: 3 Description: This course will explore structure and process in society, institutions, communities, organizations and individuals. Theories of prejudice, discrimination and racism will be addressed. The class will examine the interplay of group privilege and disadvantage within the context of contemporary issues related to race and ethnicity including, but not limited to, conflict and change in the economy, government, religion, education and family.
