PLAST 240 - Advanced Plastic Processing Credits: 3 Lecture Contact Hours: 1 Lab Contact Hours: 2 Description: This course provides an understanding of advanced plastic processing methods. The student will learn about additive manufacturing (e.g., 3D printing or rapid prototyping), micro injection molding, multi-laminate thermoforming, hybrid blow molding, multi-material co-extrusion and thermoset and thermoplastic composite compressing/laminating processes.
Prerequisites: PLAST 130 . PLAST 131 . Corequisites: None. Recommended: None.
