ART 231 - Painting 1: Theory and Elements Credits: 3 Lecture Contact Hours: 3 Description: This course introduces the student to painting as an art form. Students examine theories, techniques and processes utilized in abstract, conceptual and representational compositions of renowned artists.
Prerequisites: ART 120 or Consent of department Corequisites: None. Recommended: ART 128
