MATH 113 - Intermediate Algebra for College Students Credits: 4 Lecture Contact Hours: 4 Description: Review of algebraic operations; problem-solving strategies; integer and rational exponents; complex numbers; solving equations; function concepts; graphs and applications of linear, quadratic, exponential, and logarithmic functions; and systems of equations are the topics covered in this course.
Prerequisites: Overall high school GPA of 2.8 or higher, or a minimum score of 510 Digital SAT-Math, 25 SAT-Math, or 250 NGA-Quantitative Reasoning, Algebra and Statistics. Corequisites: None. Recommended: None.
