MFG 202 - Advanced Machining Processes Credits: 3 Lecture Contact Hours: 1 Lab Contact Hours: 3 Description: This course will cover advanced machining processes. The students will be exposed to advanced manual machine operator skills to prepare them for what they will experience in a real world machining job environment. Particular course emphasis will be on developing skills related to precision machining processes, stamping die repair, maintaining machines, maintaining tools and producing an end product. There is a focus on using lathes, mills and grinders.
