MET 160 - Composite Materials Credits: 3 Lecture Contact Hours: 2 Lab Contact Hours: 2 Description: This course introduces the various classes, manufacturing methods and applications of composite materials used in industry. The mechanical, physical and chemical properties of reinforced polymer matrix, metal matrix and ceramic matrix composites are explored.
