DMS 180 - Advanced Sonography Credits: 3 Lecture Contact Hours: 3 Description: In this course, musculoskeletal and vascular ultrasound imaging are studied. Imaging of neonatal and infant brain and small body parts are also included. This includes physiology, pathology, pathophysiology, patient care and imaging techniques. The focus is on normal and abnormal anatomy sonographic patterns. Additionally, this course will review procedures performed with ultrasound guidance and interventional procedures.
Prerequisites: DMS 150 with a minimum grade of 3.0. Corequisites: None. Recommended: None.
