DMS 160 - Obstetrics and Gynecology Sonography Credits: 3 Lecture Contact Hours: 3 Description: In this course, gynecologic, obstetric and fetal anatomy utilizing ultrasound are studied. This includes physiology, pathology, pathophysiology, patient care and imaging techniques. The focus is on normal and abnormal anatomy sonographic patterns. Emphasis is placed on clinical history, physical assessment and correct exam protocol.
Prerequisites: DMS 150 with a minimum grade of 3.0. Corequisites: None. Recommended: None.
