Schoolcraft’s Culinary Arts program is nationally recognized for its commitment to hands-on education, and promotion of student development, and is supported by a team of dedicated and distinguished professional leaders. Students acquire professional skills in advanced culinary classrooms that are designed to enhance both individual and team learning experiences. Working with the highest quality foods, equipment, and facilities, the hands-on teaching labs are designed to confidently prepare students to be successful in their professional future. The American Harvest Restaurant promotes industry practices while fostering an educational atmosphere. In addition to these outstanding resources offered by the college, Schoolcraft is a publicly funded community college that provides a premier experience but maintains tuition rates and fees that are much lower than those of competitive four-year colleges and universities. The program is stackable to a Bachelor of Science Degree in Culinary and Dietary Operations .
The Culinary Arts program is certified by the American Culinary Federation Education Foundation (ACFEF). Accreditation assures that a program is meeting standards and competencies set for faculty, curriculum, and student services.
